With the objective of increasing awareness as well as its customer base for fund transfers, Union bank launched a promotion offering free fuel to customers who carry out fund transfers at Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) fuel stations through Western Union. LIOC is a Union Bank appointed sub agent for Western Union, and offers this service in selected outlets across the island. All customers who carry out transactions will be eligible to enter the draw to win a free tank of fuel which is offered every month.
