Union bank added yet another innovative product to its retail banking product portfolio with the launch of EasyPlus -a current account that can be operated with an initial deposit of only Rs. 5000/- . The required minimum balance is as low as just Rs 1000/=. In addition to being entitled to a personalised cheque book and all the related benefits a current account offers, EasyPlus customers will also get an ATM card free of charge.

The product was launched as a part of the Bank’s Retail Banking initiatives with the objective of promoting Current Account and Cheque Book usage amongst a wider range of customers, who at present are unable to afford same due to the high initial deposits and minimum balance requirements.
